Greetings!
I am a self taught seamstress hoping to share my creations with you. I enjoy historic costuming the most out of anything and always strive to be as historically accurate as time, budget, and common sense allows.
My main goal in running this blog is to post detailed descriptions of what I’ve made and reference the patterns that I’ve used, along with photos of construction, opinions on the pattern, and so on. I’ve found that when starting a new project it really helps me out by Googling tutorials on the specific pattern that I have picked out to see what other people have made with it and if there are important things to note with the pattern that could be potential stumbling blocks. It provides a really good starting point for me so that I already know ahead of time what needs to be done and what the finished product will look like.
I would like to add myself to the pool of many resources online to aid people like me who might either be having some problems with their pattern or want to just research and plan before starting their next project. Hopefully I’m able to help out with your own creative vision!
